Hello again guys and girls, well I’m still at tafe, snowed under by assignments and such, going in to study art has opened my eyes a bit more too how much I don’t know about it. A couple of people in my course seem a bit put off by the new ways they are trying to make us look at things, but at the moment I’m taking everything as a new challenge and it seems to be paying off. I’m currently working on a ways to transfer my weird surreal/abstract drawing style in to painting (bloody hard to do), and messing around with printing techniques, oils, inks and gouache paints is always good.
In other news I am in the process of getting the internet back on at home, it could be anything from, 1- 3 weeks before it comes on at home but I SHALL RETURN! :bucktooth: and then good fun and drinks shall be had by all. =D
I have been doing some drawings for a mates night club’s advertising flyers, and both the concept drawings and finished products will be posted here as soon as I have the chance and there will probably be more in the future, as both me and my mate Scotty have been named the advertising guys for the moment. I will also see if I can upload any of the painted work that’s been happening.
In random stuff to tell you for the hell of it, I’ve become a stand up comedy addict, and now watch Billy Connelly, Dylan Moran and Bill Bailey religiously. :worship: of course Black Books and The Young Ones have been added to the collection. :bucktooth:
In good reading material, I’d suggest Traci Harding’s ‘The Mystique Trilogy’ Starting with ‘The Gene of Isis’, it is brilliant stuff suitable for anyone seeking something including ancient history, science fiction, metaphysics, philosophy and theology.
Well besides becoming a bar-fly at the pub near school, not much else is new, so I’ll catch you all around in the near future.

Cheers guys :horns: till next time.

That is EXACTLY how I felt when I started college again, that learning everything I was about art just showed me how little I used to know about it! Stand up comedy will swallow your soul, lol.
